How to get here?

IMPORTANT: We do not recommend using GPS (Google Maps, Waze, etc.) as it will likely take you through small back roads, which is neither the fastest nor the simplest route.

Ottawa / Gatineau: From King Edward Avenue, cross into Quebec. Follow signs for Route 5 North. You must go to the end of this road in Wakefield. The road then becomes 105 North. Continue on this road to Kazabazua. When you reach Kazabazua, you will see Route 301 on your left. Turn onto this road; you have 26 km (16.1 miles) to go to reach us. Our address (1378) is indicated on a blue sign on your left.

Renfrew: Take Route 17 West and continue for 5 km (3.1 miles) to Storyland Rd. Turn right and drive 4.3 km (2.6 miles) to the first stop sign. Turn right and go to the end of the road, at the junction of Route 148. Turn left and drive 10 km (6.2 miles) to the village of Campbell's Bay. Turn right onto Route 301 North and continue North to the village of Otter Lake (21 km / 13 miles). Continue on Route 301 North; we are located 12 km (7.4 miles) past the village of Otter Lake. Our address (1378) is indicated on a blue sign on your right.

Pembroke: Cross the bridge into Quebec on Route 148. Drive 54 km (33.5 miles) on Route 148 to the village of Campbell's Bay. Turn left onto Route 301 North and continue to the village of Otter Lake (21 km / 13 miles). Continue on Route 301 North; we are located 12 km (7.4 miles) past the village of Otter Lake. Our address (1378) is indicated on a blue sign on your right.

Clothing & Gear:

Warm clothes
Snow boots
Snow pants
Winter coat
Toque (Winter hat)
Scarf
Ski goggles or sunglasses
Neck warmer or balaclava
Thin liners/gloves to wear inside your mittens
Hand/toe warmers (hot pads) to put in your boots and/or mittens (Easy to find at the pharmacy)

Important Clothing Rules:

No denim or cotton
Dress in layers and use synthetic fabrics only
No fur clothing!

Specific Activities:

TUBING: Children under 12 must wear a helmet.
SPA: If you booked the spa (children 10+ and adults): bring your swimsuit. NO COTTON.
LOG CABIN: If you booked the cabin, please bring your own shampoo and towels.

Don't forget:

Bring your gift certificate if you have one.

Cancellation policy

Weather Conditions:

We reserve the right to reschedule the activity under the following conditions:

- Temperatures below -24°C (excluding wind chill) in Otter Lake, QC, based on The Weather Network forecast 48 hours prior to the activity date.

- Rain (more than 1 mm).

- Freezing rain (more than 1 mm).

- Unfavorable trail conditions for safe sledding.

All clients will be contacted by email 2 days before their appointment to confirm weather conditions. If we judge that the conditions are not favorable (see list above), the appointment may be rescheduled or canceled at no charge. It is the client's responsibility to check their voicemail and email inbox.

Cancellation Fees:

- If the client cancels or reschedules 7 days or more before the appointment: No cancellation fee will be applied.

- If the client cancels or reschedules between 7 days and 48 hours before the appointment: 50% of the total cost will be charged to the credit card.

- If the client cancels or reschedules 48 hours or less before the appointment: 100% of the total cost will be charged to the credit card.

- Late Arrival / No-Show: If the client does not show up or arrives late for their appointment, 100% of the total amount will be charged.

Booking security:

We require a valid credit card number (no debit-credit or prepaid cards) to secure your reservation. We do not charge the activity price to this card (except in the event of a non-weather-related cancellation, in accordance with our cancellation policy).

We use the credit card information to place a pre-authorization (hold) on the funds for the total amount. This hold will be released upon payment of the final invoice (via e-Transfer or cash).
